Playing for Change: Peace Through Music

If you like bluesy rock with a little funk, Shore 104 could be your new favourite station.  They play a lot of local talent and stuff you won’t hear anywhere else.  Also, a lot of Pearl Jam.

The other day, I heard an amazing version of Stand By Me. Already one of my favourite all-time songs, this version was gosebump-inducing in its authenticity. I looked up the artist, listed as Playing for Change. I was so touched by what I found.   It is a real testament to the power of music and how small our global community really is.
